Barry Blanton

Barry Blanton, CPM®, is a Senior Vice President of IREM (the Institute of Real Estate Management). Blanton is the “Chief Problem Solver” and a founding principal of Blanton Turner, an AMO® real estate management and consulting firm based in Seattle, Washington. Blanton Turner opened in 2011 and has been recognized nationally as the 2014 Management Company of the Year by Multifamily Housing News and was awarded an REME Award as “AMO of the Year” in 2016. Blanton entered the industry in 1980 and has become one of the most influential property management professionals in the Pacific Northwest. He was named CPM of the Year for Western Washington Chapter in 2009 and served as chapter president in 2010. He served as regional vice president of IREM Region 12 in 2017/2018. Blanton met his wife, Sherri, in 1978, and they were married in 1982. They have one son, Aaron, an independent film maker living in New York. Blanton is a member of the IREM Western Washington chapter.
